On the first Saturday of each month, we as a church, divide into groups. One group will visit shut ins and church members who haven’t be able to attend services for some time. The other group will go into a neighborhood and knock doors or hang door hangers. We at Wayne Avenue Baptist still hold to the words of Jesus Christ which he spoke in Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. It is our desire to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to see lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
