About The Bible

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inerrant, infallible, immutable, and plenary inspired Word of God. The Bible is inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and, therefore, are the final authority for faith and life.  The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning. The King James Version of the Bible shall be the official and only translation used by the church, and that it is the supreme and final authority of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 1:23; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

About God

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in essence while distinct in personality and function. Each being co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. (Exodus 20:2-3; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19-20; John 14:10,26; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 5:7)

About the Fall of Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that in Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.  All human beings are born with a sin nature and are sinners in thought, word, and deed. Man is totally depraved and, oh himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:1-6; Romans 3:10,13,22-23; 5:12,19; 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-3; 4:17-19)

About Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of sins. We believe that Jesus Christ died as the substitutionary sacrifice for all men. The blood atonement He made is unlimited in its potential. It is limited only in its application, effectively saving all those who call upon the name of the Lord in repentance and faith. We believe that all sins, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, are forgivable. (Isaiah 53:4-11; John 3:5-8,16; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21; 1 Timothy 4:10; 1 John 2:1-2; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Matthew 12:31-32; 1 John 1:9)  We believe that all who receive, by faith, the Lord Jesus, are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become the children of God. (John 1:12-13; 3:3-16; Acts 16:31: Romans 4:5; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)

The Local Church

We believe that the local Church, which is the body and the espoused bride of Christ, is solely made up of born-again persons. It is the agency through which God has chosen to accomplish His work in the world. A New Testament Baptist Church is an organized body of baptized believers, immersed upon a credible confession of faith in Jesus Christ, having two offices (Pastor and deacon), congregational in polity, autonomous in nature, and banded together for work, worship, edification, the observance of ordinances, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:41-47; Romans 16:17; 1 Corinthians 2:12-14; 6:14-17; 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23; 3:10; 5:25-27; 1 Timothy 3; 6:3-5; 1 Peter 5:1-3)

Separation

We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord. God commands His people to separate from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices, and associations, and to refrain from all immodest and immoderate appearances, piercings, and bodily markings. (Romans 12:1-2; 14:13; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; 1 John 2:15-17; 2 John 9-11; Leviticus 19:28; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Missions

We believe that God has given the Church the Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. As ambassadors of Christ, we must use all available means to go to foreign nations and not wait for them to come to us. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-48; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:20)
